 It is a place where all relevance to creativity, using one's hands to make something has been replaced by using one's digits exclusively for digital means,  digitally , in an agentic state.  There are a few who (re)discovered human creative capacity as it had once evolved.  A few unearthed damaged and time-weathered patterns.  A few followed a legacy that continued knitting, but interruptions, oppression and secrecy compromised its translation.  Materials scarce, colours limited, faded, tired-vibrant and inconsistent contribute and determine design.    HANDS is motivated by the unrelenting human need to create, to answer to, to heal, to fix, to reconcile, to understand, to transform, to communicate, to find originality,  to define one's originality , to find peace  with  the discomfort of limitations, to find freedom, expanding within restrictions.  image | @rvdwcreative

"No. 5" doesn't suggest chronology, but rather refers to the neck, the 5th chakra...communication and creative portal...clear, precise, deliberate placement on the body, potent but not overpowering, complimenting face and clothing...wearability is plastic and individual...each piece in the series is named with a number.
